Anyone watch this new show today ITV 2pm, Britains answer to Judge Judy, Judy more masculine! He reminded me of Jason Gardiner!

Will record the rest of the series though. I have never seen Judge Judy.

Bring back Crime Stories in that afternoon slot, ITV!

I thought it was OK
a bit camp - but then with a life spent with judges....

definitely a Judge Judy look alike...

I thought it was definitely worth another view...

It had its moments, got to the crux of the cases, some laughable comments and answers!

With his fake tan, perfect hair and camp demena he should be on some other reality show, like Only way is Essex, Made in Chelsea or Celebrity Big Brother!!!
The law society must be tut tut tutting all the way to the The Hurlingham Club!!

Does UK TV have to copy the USA.

A fake studio courtroom and a supposed judge.

This afternoon I started watching ridiculous Rinder and quickly turned off the programme.

I've only seen the adverts and was surprised by his attitude! Does he conduct himself like this in the courtroom away from the cameras as surely his job is to judge and not be a bitchy comedian essentially pointing and laughing and urging others to do the same?

He's Not a real Judge. Outside of the TV studio he is a Barrister.

What's the difference and if he's not a real judge why is he allowed to masquerade as one? Does this mean that none of the trials are seen solved in the eyes of the law outside this program?

I also would like to know how he can pretend to be a judge with a flag positioned behind him with the name....Judge Rinder.

Henrietta, a barrister works for one party in a trial or hearing, the defence or the prosecution, putting their client's case forward in a positive light to try and convince the jury that his client's version of events is the correct one.

The judge will have been a barrister or solicitor for some years before becoming a judge, the person who listens to both sides, directs the jury and passes sentence.

Im not a fan of the show, he misses out important detail and spends more time trying to score sarcasm/bitchy points than making good judgements

I am assuming that, as the programme is a somewhat copy of Judge Judy, none of the participants loose out. All expenses are paid by the Company that produces the programmes; and that could also include fees to all extras who form the public observers in the supposed courtroom.

A few months back the producers of the show were seeking participants.

At least she appears to judge svejk! It appears that rinder would be best suited on stage at a drag queen competition! Before anyone says i'm anti gay or anything like that some of my best friends are drag queens and many of my true friends are gay or lesbian so i would know.

the Judge Judy episodes that are being shown for the umpteenth time on CBS Reality at that time of the afternoon are much better
