Anyone else completely uninterested in these concerts that are all over the news bulletins? Never could stand her singing voice, or her silly 'little girl' speaking voice. And, judging by the photos from the concerts, she's spent the past 35 years eating buns!

I like her early stuff, her latest stuff is in my opinion really lacking. She's also asked fans not to film or take pics on their phone as she wants the experience to be 'intimate' and of course is going to be flogging vids and pics left right and centre. I'll await to see what people who attend the gigs say about her before I cast too many aspersions.

I think Kate Bush is one of the most influential and inspiring musicians of our time.
Klavidir, there was a documentary on her on iplayer this week. I think you'd enjoy it. She cares about her art.

I don't blame her for asking people not to film the concert. Who hasn't been irritated by someone holding up a phone or iPad in front of them? I've never understood people who choose to look through a tiny screen rather than be fully immersed in the occasion.

I'm not going to the concerts so no, not that interested. But I've always liked Kate Bush's music even if it was always difficult to catch what the words were. And she has had more weight at times than the present day, but she's not there to please her fans with her lithe figure.

I really have no interest in her, not even when she was so popular. The only record I could tolerate of her was the one she did with Peter Gabriel, can't remember what it was called.

My goodness it's her first public performance in 35 years. Personally I think she's immensely talented and an iconic songstress from my youth. You don't have to have liked her ever but pulling her apart for her weight or ageing looks is just plain spiteful.

brainiac - your argument is the same as for any other musician, or indeed any piece of entertainment you can care you mention.

Some people love it, some actively dislike it, some are completely indifferent, some admit they don't understand it.

So if you don't like Kate Bush, no problem, but to actively start a thread by vilifying her and being rude about her appearence is not really relavent is it - you are not going to get a debate, merely people agreeing or disagreeing with your point of view.

Sorry, but that made me childishly giggle.

But to be fair, whilst I'm personally not a fan of hers, and couldn't care less whether shes in concert or not, I wouldn't take the micky out of those that do like her- each to their own and all that, and I don't think she looks too shabby for her age either.
