I had never seen one before and it looked beautiful. The whole ceremony was very simple. We all stood around in this beautiful part of Devon and a few people said a few words and then we all went to the village Pub !
One year later we were able to plant a sapling over his burial site and we chose a cherry tree, which looks marvelous in blossom. I have been to so many, too many, awful Crematorium affairs and the woodland one was like a breath of fresh air. My Uncle was a very keen bee-keeper and he would have loved the idea of bees feeding on his cherry tree !
