I don't do links but did anyone see this program on Thurs Morn?, 2 people had taken on these company's that keep ringing you up at Tea Time, one person said to this company I am going to charge you for my time, he had taken it to the small claims & won a few hundred pounds, another did the same, is this the way to win this telephone unwanted phone call war? would you do the same or you can not be bothered? I'm sure I would.

When I hear of people having a bit of fun with these callers and winding them up, I sometimes wish I could be bothered to string them along. Wasting their time and irritating them for a change seems only fair. Would be better if there was a reliable way of getting rid of them for good, might try your tip and see if it works.
You don't do links TWR? Because you dunno how or some kind of protest thing?
But to answer your question, I no longer have the problem as I took out my landline phone (still have the line for t'internet, but no phone plugged in) but when I did I just put the phone down again, life's too short for to go to all the hassle for a possible few quid.
When Mini Boo was just learning to babble I used to pass the phone to her, she used to jabber for ages to them- they always hung up on her, which I thought was rude! ;-)
