How could you not have bad thoughts for someone who takes away £3k that you've just earned so that they benefit from your skill without contributing to the pot. Bad form in my opinion and Paul thought so too!
Errrrm... They got nothing, so does it matter? The Scotsman was too full of himself and there was no need for the comment he made...It's a game and the young lad did what he was comfortable with
It's a competitive game, the fact they lost the money is par for the course.. They could have won they weren't to know either way...that's how the game is played as you will know. Each to their own to agree or not...it's all opinion on that isn't it mazie.
I wouldn't have been happy either, but I would have kept quiet, and not spoken in the way that other man did. its a game, and the man who went for the minus £3000 could have been the one who helped win.
Agreed, but the young lad did what he thought was best for him... And really there was no need for the attitude.... It's part of the game play, the option to take the lower offer. Sometimes it's necessary to beat the Chaser, so they can get more players back for the final. If the people that devise the game didn't think it was an option they wouldn't have included it in the game
I didn't think the sulky contestant who won the big amount came over very well at all - such arrogance and very, very rude - however, it is within the rules of the game for less confident players to take a minus offer in order to gain an extra point in the final chase (whether or not I would have done it is neither here nor there). I wonder what would have been the opinion if the team had won by one point and taken home a share of the pot instead of nothing.
