So am I. Our previous car had an illuminating graphic on the dashboard when the doors weren't all shut. It was supposed to be a top view of the car, with both front doors opened to about 45 degrees, but the first time it lit up, both of us thought it looked like a swaddled-up baby with its arms stuck out a bit.

Fortunately, the current car has a text display with DRIVER DOOR OPEN etcetera, which is just what you and I need.
