She knew him from some years ago and was going to tell her husband about him after her talk with the detective played by Gilliam Anderson - I think

I think that she was the one the forensics officer was talking about in the first series.

Remember she said that she had a friend at university who dated a guy who tried to strangle her one night in bed?

I think that was this girl.

I'm not 100% sure, but that's what I assumed whilst watching it.
