Anybody having reception problems in the Yorks TV area?
My SKY+ HD box keeps saying it's not receiving a signal, particularly HD channels but some "minor" channels still ok.
Having to reboot the box regularly now (25% space still available on programmes)
Is the box on the way out?
I'm told new boxes can't use the "free" room to room service using a magic eye that we have.

Is there heavy cloud above your home? That's usually the reason.

Clear skies with frost expected so not the usual heavy rain problems...
Thats odd...No complaints on twitter re the sky signal, Al
Go to settings, then go to signal and check the signal quality and signal strength.
From here you will find out if the signal in is good.
Re the magic eye Sky say..With a Sky+ and Sky+HD box, you can use a TV Link (also known as a Magic Eye) to control your Sky+ or Sky+HD box from a different room.

Thanks Jomlett
We have the TV link but I'm told this can't be used on new boxes, probably because Sky want the room to room extra package
Signal is good
Clear weather
Just got ITV HD back but went after 5 minutes along with the rest!
Check your sky box connections...especially the 2 ariels in.

Thanks J
Will have to wait until tomorrow...
It could also be worth checking your LNBs on the dish. I had an ariel rigger check mine a couple of years ago after no signal. He replaced one.
