I do think that the system of voting to keep your favourite will provide a different outcome than vote to get rid of the one you don't like.

Maybe Michael's supporters just aren't the type to text or phone a programme to vote?

I've found him to be quite funny really.

It did seem to indicate the majority do not appreciate the intellectual and educated minority, nothing new there, I'd have been more surprised if such trends were broken really.

I've never watched this but I think your second sentence is probably the answer, if other unreality programmes are anything to go by.

I like him as well, would have preferred self appointed mother hen to have walked. I watch it but never would be bothered to vote.
