I read in the papers that Mel B may not be appearing in X Factor at the weekend as she is unwell. Now what was that advice she gave to a contestant who had not been well all week before his weekend appearance. Illness happens, get over it and carry on, grow a pair and man up. Will she take her own advice though?
THE Difference is, she has probably not been "waiting for this opportunity all her life" or feels compelled to appear on the program because "her granny died and she would be so proud"
That isn't the point bednobs. I can't remember who it was but she rebuked him for complaining that he'd been ill. Her answer was roughly that we've all been there and you just have to carry on when you're ill and work through it. So it will be interesting to see if she appears tomorrow night when she's ill.
Doesn't this depend on the illness as well? She could be gravely ill (probably not, but who knows), whereas the contestant may have been slightly off colour.
It was Ben, one of the finalists she said it too. I agree it depends on the severity of illness but I know what you mean FoxLee and I agree with you too.
She's not performing but doing a job she's very well paid for and I believe its near the finals and unless she is on her deathbed (doubtful) then she should heed her own advice and man up. All she has to do is sit there and listen to a few songs been sung, its not like she's in the jungle or on Strictly.
According to the Daily Mirror, the show is now in "chaos". It quotes insiders saying there's only a 90% chance of her appearing on Saturday's final, adding: "X Factor bosses were last night considering bringing a guest judge in to replace her."
Not exactly my definition of chaos.
