Some reminders/suggestions:

The Missing
The Fall
Modern Family
Remember Me
Broadchurch
Dr Who
Game of Thrones
Black Mirror
Transparent
Hannibal
Downton Abbey
Sherlock
Call The Midwife
Happy Valley
The Honourable Woman
Peaky Blinders

For me - a threeway split between Olive Kitteridge, True Detective and Homeland, with a special commendation to Modern Family...mainly because of Sophia Vergara.

OP didn't ask for a series, Boo. I didn't watch any of that rubbish either. Merry Christmas. ;-)
"Never seen any of them ,don't have any great plans to do so .watched a documentary on Dunlop motorcycling family ..."

Not seen any of that lot either, though some tempt me more than others. As for the porno version of Lord of the Rings aka Game of Thrones :- Although I did actually see one episode of Peaky Blinders in fairness and wished I'd seen more.

Joey Dunlop once served me a pint of Guinness in his bar: now there was a great sporting legend with not an ounce of ego in him
Was in Joeys Bar and in the garden dedicated to Joey and Robert ,when visiting a few years ago .
I haven't watched any of it either.
I'm now actually wondering why we have so many TVs
There's a new series of 'Birds of a Feather' starting............that should be good!
Sherlock and Call The midwife are the only ones I actually followed. I quite enjoyed Downton Abbey when I watched it.
Personal choices as always and in no particular order so here goes:

The program I enjoyed the most was 37 days, about the 37 days leading up to the start of World War 1.

It was a 3 part drama series looking at all the comings and goings in Britain, Germany, Russia, Austria etc. that led up to WW1.

It was shown earlier in the year but was never shown again.

Here is a short 30 second trailer for it.

For the love of dogs
True Detective and Episodes.
Happy Valley, last Tango in Halifax (was that 2014) Strictly, Mrs Browns Boys.
