I saw her performance last night - I know people like her are desperate for any sort of publicity BUT I cannot for the life of me understand why she would go on national television and demonstrate that she is virtually a moron.

I know the phrase is that there is no such thing as bad publicity but this was deeply, deeply embarrassing!

I think you have to regard most celebrities in show business as thick and most will never turn down the chance to appear in front of the camera.
I did a celebrity quiz programme on "Today's The Day" with Bernard Cribbins as my partner. We were asked the question what part did Bernard Cribbins play in the Railway Children . He said I have not a clue , so I told him it was Perks.

8 - and she did rather well with her specialist subject of 'Ann Boleyn'. She explained that by saying that she was descended from (can't remember, possibly Cranmer, possibly not - I was in and out of the room), whoever - it had left her interested in the subject.
