Does anyone know if the performance of War Horse at the Proms - the special edition shown on Boxing Day - is available on DVD, or if there are plans to do so? I was captivated by it, and I'd love to keep a copy permanently.

Downloading from the BBC seems only to keep it available for 30 days - is that do (I've never tried downloading before)?

I have tried googling but to no avail!

What would you be downloading it to, Pc, Tivo, Sky box?

Yes, if you download from iPlayer, it disappears from your computer after 30 days. It`s not possible to copy it from there either.

I thought I'd just catch a downloaded programme about female torch singers (Billy Holiday, Edith Piaf etc) because I had 24 mins before it expired. I thought I was in time but it's cut me off right in the middle of it :(
