I find Mr Spence's 'writ large' approach irritating, but as usually advised, I switch over or off if I see him.

There is a section of the viewing community who adore gay men, finding them endearing, but personally, I find any extrovert behaviour at this level makes me uncomfortable, so I avoid it.

I don't think he's a very good dancer either. He just kicks his legs and does the splits.

I am no expert, but I suspect Mr Spence's is based less on talent, and more on force of personality.

Not liking Spence's behaviour is not homophobic - a lot of gay people don't like over the top, screechy, look at me-me-me, campness.

Just as I don't like screechy, over the top, look at me-me-me I'm ditzy women.

I would argue with anyone who accused me of being homophobic over any issue, but for anyone to try and infer homophobia simply for not liking a 'celebrity's persona, as against is sexuality, is simply looking for a fight where none exists.
