Is back in Corrie (albeit name only).

Personally quite disgusted with the powers that be at Corrie still using this term. Tantamount to bullying and insulting overweight people IMO.

Heaven's above, if one is fat, one is fat, stop shillying around.
Mrs.chappie: You me like the woman in the latest episode of Birds of a Feather? She was called fat 'name' (I can't remember her name! However that's irrelevant). When you finally see her, she's stick thin.

I used to know a guy at college who used to get called little Dave. He's 6' 8".
Diz, there was an ABer called Bigmamma (a lovely lass)...I always thought of her as, well....big. Turns out she was a slender, small girl. Sadly, no longer with us.
A bit like the late Don Estelle from 'It ain't half hot, mum' being nicknamed 'Lofty' even though he was a shortarse.
It was like 'Curly' Watts, also in Coronation Street, he had dead straight hair.
At work we have at least 5 with the same first name.

We refer to the one who's been there the longest as "name name" or just "name"

One of the others works in the same department, so its "other name"

The rest are referred to as "name surname".

It works!
