Watching an episode of Antiques Roadshow today, and an landscape of St Michael Mount painted from the seaside village was being discussed.
I understood the artist was English, he moved to Cornwall and incorporated the name of the village into his signature and now all I can remember was his initials were S J, and then name of the village began with an L, but do you think I can remember anymore than that ... Any helpers out there please ?
Name of the place is Long Rock. Which is also the name of the roundabout where you turn left for Marazion or right for Penzance. At Long Rock you see St Michaels mount just to the left.
