I have been watching these in the afternoons on BBC and the episodes are all over the place.
Even though it is a BBC series, and I assume they have access to all the episodes, they are not showing them in the right order.
While many comedies are "stand alone" so can be shown in any order this show does have running threads and by showing them out of order many of the shows make no sense.
As you say, in one episode Yvonne is shown with a new partner, then the next day is the episode when Barry leaves and the new partner arrives.
Last week that had the episode when Mr Partridge (Punch and Judy man) was found dead in the swimming pool (well a dummy anyway), and the next day he was still in it.
Also as you say, they show an episode with the Camp Controller, then the next day they show the episode where he arrives on the camp.
p.s. I am somewhat of a comedy historian so I am mainly watching these for historic reasons and to see who appears in them. I had no idea for example that Kenneth Conner had appeared in it, and I am old enough to remember the originals.
It is also interesting to see how some people who appeared in this show also appeared on other David Croft shows. For example Gavin Richards appeared as the camp controller the other week (the Smiling Viper) and he was the Italian soldier in Allo Allo.

There should be no excuse for showing the episodes out of order, there must have been a running order drawn up at the time of production and the paper work will still exist somewhere at the BBC. Pure laziness if you ask me. I suggest writing to Points of View and let the BBC know that these things are noticed.
