Watching today's episode, I got so a angry when she took the minus offer. I think it is so selfish. She reduces the pot and wants a share. I end up shouting at the tv!

I haven't seen that episode yet, but I always get annoyed when they take the minus offer. The ones that do tend to contribute very little in the final chase.
On the other hand, an extra person in the final means an extra step, which is often crucial.

You're right Caran. Scarlett took the minus offer. The woman the day before who thought that an ostrich was a short-legged farmyard bird had me in stitches.

What is more annoying is that Scarlet is at university and came across as not having a clue about anything.

It really makes me angry too and I always want those who take the minus offer to fail on the board game even though it's often more logical and tactiacl to take the minus offer. I also laughed at the ostrich answer yesterday but I think she got flustered.

As for Scarlet yes she was at university and wants to be a foreign languages teacher. I think her general knowledge was shameful personally because it only gives weight to the suggestion that today's teachers are not well rounded or educated.

Agree Caran I was angry at Scarlett as well I hate it when they take the minus and capitalise on others hard work but then we have to realise this is all part of the game and sometimes the other contestants encourage some to take the minus thinking that an extra point in the final will be beneficial. I would rather be out than take the minus!
