Why, no matter what the turn is doing on the stage, does the camera have to linger on And & Dec in the wings, doing their own (facile) version of what the turn is doing?
It wasn't funny when Hughie Green used to do it right after a turn on Opportunity Knocks, and it's not funny now.

Because Ant and Dec are the stars. The acts do NOT matter. No body wants to even look at the acts! We just love watching Ant and Dec because they are so darned funny and lovely!! TV should just be one long Ant and Dec Show because they are so cute and lovely. They are the Morecambe and Wise of now because of their loveliness'!
