Guitar Issue
2 Answers
I was restringing my guitar when the nut popped off, I put it back on with super glue and it's staying fine. However, it's out by about 1/2mm and now there's a constant buzzing on the D string and it won't stay tuned when playing. Can I easily remove it and replace it?

When I replaced the nut on my bass, I tapped it away from the fretboard towards the headstock. A little tap with a piece of hardwood and it came free. After cleaning the surface, I used a thin coat of Araldite (epoxy resin) to stick the new nut on. With resin, you'll get more time to adjust the nut, leave overnight to set fully before restringing. Good luck!
