I've seen cures for balding in chemists, but can anything really cure me of my despair at not being able to escape Clare Balding in the Media? She is effin everywhere: tv, radio, newspapers, magazines.... What exactly is the fascination for her? She is capable and knowledgeable, but neither attractive-looking nor particularly endearing in personality. Are any of you balding fans and, if so, why?

Ditto Philip Schofield and Holly Banks whatever you call her. Philip please please go home.

She is attractive to some women, which is important to her.

I doubt that she aspires to being a pin up.

that said, we are all given what we are given in terms of our looks - not all of us are sprayed with evolution's cologne - that's just the way it is.

Claire Balding should have thought about that when talking to Liam Tredwell.
I don't see much TV - and therefore only see the odd promo for Ms Balding's work there - but she seems OK to me.

Where I do come across her is on Radio 4 where her programmes (particularly 'Ramblings') are well presented and informative.

She's a sympathetic interviewer who gives the people she is talking to plenty of time to make their points.

I like Ms Toksvig too - perhaps I should come out of the closet ....
I agree with S-D (apart from the last paragraph). Ramblings presented by CB is an excellent programme.

I watch minimal TV so only come across CB on the radio and I think she is very professional.
