I'm not being rude, but my West Country ears can't get attuned to those Scottish voices. Mind, they probably would have difficulty understanding me!

I would love to have listened in because both told me later they hadn't a clue what the other was saying....x

I had trouble as well wiltsman I consider myself bi-lingual. My father was a scot as was my ex and both my sons-in-law.

Not seen it but I can tell where you are coming from. Used to have conference calls regarding testing of code, with an off-shore company. I could hardly understand one word in three of what the off-shore employees were saying, but being concerned of being labelled racist because of it, I used to agree to everything and hope for the best. Strong accents are a pain. (Especially when other colleagues seem to be much better attuned.)

That is why I refuse to have any contact with my Scottish nieces I dont understand ONE word they say to me.

I sometimes have trouble with the Scottish accent, but on this particular programme, I just put the subtitles on!

LOL, it was one of the weirdest conversations I've ever had, wiltsman. We both ( RIP Owdhammer ) spoke in English but both of us couldn't understand each other accents.

Oh yes, I also had the subtitles on, as I do with many programmes due to too much background noise and also people mumbling.
