If it was your home featured how would it feature?
My own place is a multi story flat (good view)
Living room that resembles a library (huge book collection)
Rest of flat pretty bland...(I like simplicity and minimalist)

We're six weeks into a seven week summer holiday of rubbish weather - it's not pretty here (I'd rather it be a tip than moaning at the kids all the time - it's just stuff). Kids' friends are told to ignore the mess and not write in the dust :)

I agree sherr. I remember it well albeit 50 years ago. The long school holidays were a nightmare.

I love having them home, neither me or himself care about the mess and no one visits apart for pre-teens - it's all good. I'll get extra bin bags in the shopping next weekend and have a clear out (it's only thing one that makes a mess, but she's like the Tass Manian Devil of mess making).

Mine is messy, and dusty with lots of books. I feel embarrassed looking at it all when I know someone is coming round, or has come round unexpectedly, and I have a mad five minutes with a damp cloth but it doesn't help much.

Small two bed terrace with non-de script interior and furnishings, none of which match. And a bit messy with toys everywhere. In a not very nice part of town either.
