I haven't seen any of the latest series, so you can understand how surprised I was to see in this evenings episode the gorgeous Vicky looking like she's 11 month's gone and that her 'airbags' have gone off!!
Why can't more women on the telly take as much care of their appearances as our Victoria ? Even when she is as far gone in her pregnancy as this, she still looks wonderful. In fact, if anything, her condition has improved her general look.
I shall probably get into trouble with the AB Sisterhood here, but she appears to be fullsome of breast, which can't be a bad thing !
The final round is the only one I'm any good at.
I think all women on TV take great care of their appearance. All the professional presenters, anyway. I'm pleased to see that though VCM is not stick-thin, even when not pregnant, she still gets a mainstream presenting job.
Cloverjo....to my mind ( as a mere man of course ! ) I just think more women should try a dress every now and then. Vicky has a good figure and thank goodness she isn't stick thin ! Men like curves !
I agree Mikey. I think she looks great. It's just that most presenters are thin. I think a lot of them do wear dresses, just that you don't notice them because they don't have the curves that you like.
I like the final round as it mixes up the show a bit -- about fast thinking on the buzzer compared to slower, more abstract thinking from earlier in the show -- and on OC it turns out that I don't know enough to be all that good at the first couple of rounds, apart from the occasional question. But the Missing Vowels round gives me something to look forward to, other than the quirky humour.
Couple of weeks back my local pub quizmaster was on the show, and won, so that was nice.
Monday is my favourite telly night ! University Challenge is unmissable at 20:00. Last night I was shouting at the box, as usual ! Some of these kids that appear are obviously extremely intelligent, and have the benefit of very expensive educations, but they show very little common sense at times.
Can you give an example of their lack of common sense, please Mikey? I am genuinely interested. I used to like the show, but find it quite tedious now so don't watch it. I was always impressed by how much knowledge the younguns had.
Cloverjo...as usual, I can't recall any specific examples ! Did you notice that last night, there was a Freddie Mercury lookalike ! You would have thought he would have put a shirt on as he was going to be on nationwide TV !
