Another Stupid Coronation Street Storyline

When Callum was hit over the head by Kylie when he was attacking Sarah why not just phone the police? Why would anyone go to those ridiculous lengths to bury the dead body making things ten times worse?

I can't take these crazy storylines seriously but it was worth it all to see David appear with the Pirates duvet cover...
Sarah Platt (seeing David Platt with a duvet cover to wrap Callum Logan's body in): "What's that for? No, you can't use that."
David Platt: "It's an old one, alright? It's not going to be missed. And I'm not being caught out by Gail's top and bottom sheet rotation."
Sarah Platt (seeing the design): "Pirates?"
David Platt: "Well, strangely enough, Max never asked for one with drug dealers on."

Let's face it, it could only happen in a soap. There are quite a few stupid storylines at the moment. Another one that springs to mind is Eastenders, this Lucy thing has been going on for far too long. The Coronation Street thing reminded me of Brookside when they put the body under the patio !! Some of these script writers are really bad now. Why take away so much of the humour that used to be in Coronation Street that is what always made it the best.
