It is how some people spend their lives - sadly.
People who have got their lives together have a large element of choice in the way their lives go - they make decisions, they think about things, and they organise things to make them happy and secure.
But there is, for want of a better expression, an 'underclass' who do none of these things. These are people who exercise little control over themselves, things merely 'happen' to them, and the lack the intelligence and empathy to question if things are right or wrong, they just 'are'.
Situations present themselves, sex, drugs, fights, and so on, and they simply react that what is in front of them at the time.
This behaviour extends to an inability to think about what is going on, which is why they struggle with the simple questions that JK asks them.
So when JK says, why did you sleep with your daughter's boyfriend, and the woman involved says 'I don't know ...' that is exactly the correct answer, she really doesn't know!
It's sad, and it panders to the lowest common denominator in viewing audiences, the willingness to point and laugh and gasp and ultimately feel superior to the 'guests' because it is not them behaving in this way.
It's really best not encouraged, so probably wisest just not to watch it.
