An audience with ......

I was watching the ITV compilation of the above last night and was wondering why Billy Connolly was not included as that one to me would be one of the most famous.  Has he dirtied his bib.  I know he has appeared a bit arrogant of late.

I know that MargeB but he did get an audience and the program last night was 50 years of ITV so I would have thought he would be included.  I have seen him and liked him but he has got above himself lately.

The whole show was on ITV3 last hight before the compilation was on ITV1.

i would say that his 'audience with' is the most famous and best by far so it is strange that is wasnt used.

Perhaps it was in light of his tasteless remarks regarding the murdered hostage Ken Bigley.

Or perhaps it's because he's a Royal-bum kisser who is one of the least amusing men in Britain, only found funny by that other well-known sycophant Parky.

I used to think Billy was funny until those remarks about Ken Bigley. I bet Billy would'nt find it amusing had it been one of his family murdered!!!!!!!!!

Is it because Billy's was a Channel Four show?
Others on Channel Four were: Kenneth Williams, Mel Brooks, Joan Rivers first one, Dame Edna's second one, Peter Ustinov and Jackie Mason, so if none of these were used either than that may be why!
