Yeah, pretty annoying.  Anthea is still number 1 for me thought, I'm afraid.  Oh yeah, and that woman in the El Paso  advert who's talking on the phone whilst eating a fajita her boyfriend has made her.  She has such an annoying voice I want to throttle her.

Most annoying? Perhaps you are too young to remember Mrs Thatcher, who talks to everyone as though they are any eight year old with a personality disorder.

Beware of anyone who prefaces any sentence (as a lot of Tories do) with "Can I just say ...." It translates as, "I am interupting you so that I can be stratospherically condescending, whether you are listening or not!"

I reckon she's very fanciable, very nice!  But the best woman on TV has to be Anglia regions weather girl, on after the early evening news!  Lovely girl!!

Piper-K    my boyfriend and I still mimic her horrible patronising nasel tones - "aromatic spices." I cook spicy food all the time, and we can't be in the kitchen together without one of us saying it. The ad hasn't been on for ages, but we still rant about it. If my man was preparing dinner and I was sitting on the phone (to my mother, I'm guessing) mocking him, I would expect him to tell me to butcher my own bloody chicken and storm out. Oh, I hate her!!

I can't stand the DFS adverts.   I think you could be right.  Although from reading this thread she's obviously a bit like marmite (love or hate kind of thing).

I'm sorry but you are all wrong. The most annoying woman on the box is Lesley Walters from Ready Steady cook. She annoys me sooo much I can't even bring myself to say her name out loud. Even writing it made me shiver !!
