what is the cheapest way to subscribe to MTV EUROPE (not just MTV UK which is available on Sky/NTL)?

According to MTV - it's not possible. They only supply the UK feed to UK homes, via Sky or cable operators. And you can't just pop over to France, say, and buy an MTV card to de-encrypt the French service and watch via a satellite dish pointing in the right direction. Sorry I can't offer more hope!
