Just watched the latest version. That was a nice touch acknowledging the death of Donald. Jacqueline seemed quite moved by it.
I'm not sure about the new family yet. But what a precocious brat that girl was. She is seriously going to annoy me. What was that stupid voice meant to be?
How come Les didn't recognise Marcus as the robber? He was in it at that time wasn't he?

Had to watch it as I visited the same hotel (only it wasnt). Yes the family are trying to replace the Garvets. I wish the Gardens would come back. Glad Mateo is back, does seem to be rubbish though. Who was the couple singing, wasn't Charlotte and Jonathan was it?

The new series is just dire. How can ITV waste an hour of peak time on this rubbish. Bring back the potter's wheel it will be more entertaining.

Agree it was rubbish compared to the other series, the different characters don't replace the originals in any way.

I miss the Garvey famly too, but not the dreadful Madge ! Glad Matteo came back. I like it because it's lovely to see the sunny weather and the pool etc.

I missed the earIy episodes so have onIy caught up over the past few months, but the earIy ones seemed so disjointed moving from one scene to another with that music signaIIing the end of a scene - now they seem to fIow a Iot better with proper ends to the scenes.

I like the fact that the show uses tribute acts and singers who work in Benidorm pubs and clubs, like this week's Meatloaf act.

I don't usually laugh out loud at the first one of the series as I'm focusing on who's who and the new storyline. The annoying family with the annoying kid is quite normal. It doesn't matter where I go, I come across a family like that on every holiday!
