Watched an episode last night .

( you will have to excuse my account / descriptions as this is the first time i have watched this show )

One of the detectives had a very brief affair with the victim ( i.e. slept with her )

One of the forensic team planted evidence on the suspects shoe .

Yet they both did not receive any sanction .

Why not - what am i missing here )

I swear that in some progs they make it up as they go along.

indeed it is - however you still have to have reflect some reality on certain key issues in this type of storyline - don't you ?

It's a bit different to Rambo fighting off an army, all by himself

You don't know that they didn't receive any sanction, Bazile. Their part in the storyline was not about whatever they suffered because of their wrongdoings, just that, what they did, affected the outcome. That is, that the cab driver didn't kill, the girl.

The fact that the murderer was a man-hater and even tried it on the judge, speaks for itself. A good story, though.

I really enjoy law and order UK.....wish it would come back on again.

It's regularly shown on ITV3, AliceT. Ten o'clock to eleven, on week nights.
