Does anybody know the name of the little village in the South of France that was used in the filming of the movie adaptation, which has subsequently seen a growth in tourism? Many thanks

I think that the village you're referring to (which had problems with devotees of the book long before the film was made) is most likely to be Rennes-le-Chateau.
