Has anyone else watched this miniseries taken from an Arthur C Clarke novel.

At 3 long episodes it was, in my opinion, stretched out way to much - cluttered with sci fi cliches and tedious in the extreme. I really wanted it to be good as I`m a hardcore sci-fi fan but I wouldnt even give it 3/10.

I did, more cheesy girly kind of Hollywood sci fi really, not proper sci fi. Made for a wider demographic I imagine so as not to make it just for the sci fi market.

Read the book years & years ago. Enjoyed it.
Not seen any serial about it.
