me!
There are some of us who would like to borrow the Tardis, so that we can go back to the days of Jon Pertwee ;-)
Or better still William Hartnell
troughton was my fav !
Me
They've all had their moments, but Tennant is still my favourite.
roger delgado as The Master was a highlight..died in car smash 1973
I did quite like Matt Baker & Karen Gillan - Tennant was good, but I thought the stories got better in the following series or two.
I preferred David Tennant too. I think his best episode was went he travelled to William Shakespeare's time in an episode called "The Shakespeare Code". I watch it on DVD every now and then. The puns are great.
David Tennant is definitely my favourite doctor, though I did like Christopher Eccleston as well. My favourite episode is the one with the weeping angels.
Anybody is better than the bloke who is doing it now!
I liked David Tennant the most out of the recent doctors, but the biggest problem is surely that the episode quality in general seems to have declined recently. David Tennant couldn't have compensated for that on his own.
Hartnell for me.
i`m a scifi fan but maybe its time it was pensioned off.
No one has mentioned Tom Baker. He was the true Doctor Who.
I did like Chritopher Eccleston, too, though.
William Hartnell for me.
''Twas a shame that Ecclestone held such a short tenure.
Unfortunately for Peter Capaldi, his arrival coincided with the plots becoming totally unfathomable. As has already been pointed out, not even Tenant at his best could have made them more understandable. Hopefully, once under the control of Broadchurch/Torchwood writer Chris Chibnall, Dr Who can return to more sensible episodes and maybe show Capaldi in a better light.
