a mini rant
Mr Alba offered job to start on Tuesday morning, excellent. He's a joiner.
Was told that agency guy would be in touch on Monday with full details, well, the full details were 'do you do kerbing?'
The job offer was for a joiner, do the staff actually know what they are doing?!!!!

If the agency just find short term contracts then maybe they are just finding what they can until some joinery work comes along.
What's he going to do? Will he turn up tomorrow?

Having worked for agencies in the past, I can appreciate their confusion depending on what vocation you (Mr Alba) actually signed up for however to me and most a joiner is quite specific. I do have some sympathy for agency workers because they can't possibly know what every job entails.
I do wish him all the best though, as they are a pain in the arris.
