Video Recorder choice
I wish I could find someone who is REALLY satisfied with a Hard Drive DVD Recorder.........I mean totally satisfied,.......... no "except fors" or " apart froms". (well, maybe little ones)..I'm desperate to get a new recorder after the total demise of my present VCR, and am just beginning to despair after a week of reading reviews and looking on forums etc etc..........I don't mind spending a bit but like everybody, I also like "value for money".......I know there have been other posts like this fairly recently, but surely there must be SOMETHING out there worth buying!
Can anyone help please?....commoner.

Multi-format, dual layer, plays everything (even DiVx). 80Gb HD which can be replaced by a normal computer HD later. Best price is 249 from Comet of all places. You might consider the Panasonic (memory card reader?) or the Pioneer.
I'm very happy with the LG (so is the wife, no more tapes and it has time-shift recording).
...Thanks guys for your replies....Sky+ is not an option for me so that leaves me with a choice of one....the LG RH7500...I must say it looks good at the price. Seems to bear out my theory though that not too many are totally happy with their machines....as shown by the low response........Thanks again...commoner. ;-)
