Hi Margo - yes he has re sat the 1st question first thing this morning. I've spoken to the school again though and said I want answers as to why there wasn't a back up plan should a computer play up and the invigilators being wrong. And to make it worse it turned out that someone in IT did try and sort it for 45 mins yesterday while he sat there panicking as all his classmates were doing the exam and he was left with just half the time to do two thirds of the exam after they declared it couldn't be fixed. They should have moved him straight away to a new PC

What a nightmare for him. It's really not on is it let's hope all this is taken into account when the paper is marked. Give me a pen and a sheet of paper any day. I used to invigilate myself, fortunately it never involved computers!
