Why Do Corrie And Ee Storylines Mimic Each Other So Much??

You can guarantee if someone gets pregnant in one then someone will in the other within the week. If someone dies then same thing...,, Leanne falls pregnant in Corrie and in same week Whitney does in EE. Kylie dies in Corrie tonight and a character does in EE nxt wk. It can't be coincidence so why is this??

Perhaps they're using the same scriptwriters! It certainly seems like it.

They should give fans a chance to come up with a storyline.

Also, Abi in EE pretended she was pregnant and Belle in Emmerdale does the same.

In Corrie this week we have a murder, a shock pregnancy, a bullying storyline, a betrayal, new romance, rekindled romance, confused romance, an anxious bedwetting child, planned emigration. It's no surprise that story lines and plots seem to mimic each other across the soaps

I thought Kylie's death in Corrie has never been done before, yet Brian Tilsley was killed by being stabbed in a nightclub all them years

excellent death last night in coro just spoilt by a bit of bad editing, and brian tilsley was stabbed "outside" the night club (not being pedantic)

Was hoping someone would say how excellent last night's acting was. I cried and was willing the ambulance to hurry up even though I knew she died! Very moving and very well done.

I think it's the first time Corrie has had a prolonged 'death bed' scene. I thought if beautifully done and very moving. Even the make up artists did a fab job of turning Kylie a bit grey.
