Wait 'til you are 68 Margot. Regardless of his commentating I've always been surprised at his lack of a knighthood. With the Great North Run and his other running and swimming events, Great Swims etc, he has been responsible for getting over a million people running and swimming. Think of the millions of pounds that have benefitted charities from his events.

Well, although I agree that John Inverdale is a bit dodgy to say the least, I would not be sorry also to see the back of his nemesis Steve Redgrave. 5-time Olympic champion may be, but his behaviour was scarcely better than childish

Personally, I can't stand Redgrave. I stress personally.
I like Brendan Foster, tho many don't, and I also can't get particularly worked up about Inverdale, although I can see why some do.

Let them all carry on I say :-)
