Awful! Where did they get that presenter?
I stuck it out and glad the lady won a nice sum of money. Don't think I'll bother again though. What did you think of it elliemay?
think he was in an IKEA catalogue circa 1979 !
Giles Coren is Victoria Coren's brother. Nowhere near as good as she is.
More importantly, he is Alan Coren's son.
I quite liked it. Maybe a bit too long, though. I might watch again.
Questions were hard!!
It grew on me a bit, some of the questions were very hard, especially with such a short thinking time but I don't think I'll bother next week, not worth missing Uni Challenge and Only Connect.
Yes it grew on me as well
I watched it after uni & Only Connect
I looked at it and switched straight over to something else. First impressions were poor: despite an intellent presenter in Giles Coren ( he's sold out ) it didn't appeal to me one bit.
I thought it needed Shane Ritchie's enthusiasm. Gave it 20 minutes then switched.
It wasn't too bad, seen far worse TV quizzes - a good breadth of question topics.
In case anyone wasn't aware, it's on for 4 consecutive nights this week, until Thursday - not sure if it has another slot next week.

I thought Giles made a decent fist of it, kept it moving along & spoke clearly. A diverting hour if nothing to write home about.
I enjoyed it.
I thought Giles Coren did well. If Shane Ritchie had been the host I wouldn't have watched two seconds of it.
