On the subject of comedy - sorry, make that 'comedy' - it appears that the BBC were planning to bring back Up Pompeii with Miranda Hart in the Frankie Howard role, but she has turned them down.

I've said it before, but it bears repeating - what drugs are the BBC Comedy Commissioning Team taking, and where can I get some!!!

The report I read said The Best British Sitcom, except it's Irish!

This is an Irish comedy with most of the cast being Irish with the exception of
the Scottish bloke who plays Deno - it was made by B B C Scotland and would appeal more to a Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland audience.
Any TV show I do not like I just change to another channel or switch off ~ simple.

I forgot there is an English Actress in it also, she used to be in coronation street or corney street ~ another stupid show (soap opera)
I say each to their own, but don't run other people down just because you
don't like the show.

P.S. I do not watch either I have an off switch on my TV.

It's dreadful. Makes me feel ill if i just catch a few words from it, yet people I know thinks it's wonderful. Strange world we live in!!

Well I enjoy it. Yes it is sometimes a bit too slapstick, but sometimes it makes me laugh out loud. Maybe sometimes my sense of humour is a bit infantile :)
