This is a more important topic than Bake Off :http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3803805/Quality-Street-ditches-Toffee-Deluxe-Honeycomb-Crunch.html
Mamy....as a person who now can't touch toffees, for fear of the few teeth I have left, this might be a move in the right direction.
How did you do that Mamy - it wouldn't come up in red when I did it.
Ahhh now an argument to get your teeth stuck into !
I removed the ':' you had at the start.
I learn something new every day. Many thanks xx
What a shame that money seems to be the most important thing in peoples lives!
No more Toffee Deluxe? Now that *is* disgraceful!

From the description, I suppose the new one is akin to that not-at-all delicious confection that Satan's demons' bottoms produce on a daily basis, the Crunchie bar?

Bleeeeuurghhh...
Oh, I quite like a Crunchie.

I think that is somewhat unfair.

Regardless of the viewing public regarding this programme as its own sainted and untouchable property - this is business.

The production company is a business, the presenters are earning their living.

It is for all concerned to decide to maximise their earning opportunities if they so wish, or to stay with the BBC, if they so wish.

But the bottom line is, we should not be encouraging the media to make this into some sort of moral dilemma for the people involved, when all it ever should be is a business decision.
