I have always thought that Kate Bush is one of a select band of musicians to whom the word 'genius' can be legitimately applied.

From her first hit to her last release, there are very few musicians whose work is not only instantly recognisable from the first note, but who remains even faintly copied or imitated by anyone anywhere.

I can`t say that I loved her. I liked Experiment IV but that was about it. She was a very innovative singer though and we don`t have any of those these days.
