I "semi-watch" episodes of, Where The Heart Is, while I'm reading in bed, and you can see the lovely face of, Lesley Ash becoming ridiculous as the programme progresses, until she ends up with the famous, "trout pout.
It's so sad, and I can't fathom why she felt she had to enhance/ruin her looks like that.

No-one looking in a mirror sees what other people see.
We zero in on the bits of ourselves that we dislike the least, and ignore the rest.
Famous people see themselves differently - seeing yourself on film or TV means you do see what others see, and speaking personally, I certainly don't like what I see at all, I have always had a seriously now self-image.
But the difference between myself and someone who earns their living based on how they perceive themselves to look (and that is a vitally important difference from how they actually look!) - is that I haven't the inclination, and certainly not the time and money, to make the adjustments I would like to my physical appearance.
Famous people do have that option, and that is where the problem lies.
Insecurity, and a belief that failing to be 'beautiful' means you will lose status and employment drives a lot of famous people to plastic surgery.
It is a massive industry, hence the increasing number of cases for the media to point and hoot when surgeries have the exact opposite effect of that intended - making the subject look, at best as though they have very obviously had surgery, and at worst like something from a bad horror film.
So you have to hope that people who have paid six figures to 'enhance' our view of them - or at least their view of themselves - are happy and content with what they see in the mirror.
And that brings us back to the start - we don't see what other people see, so we hope that we have done the best with what we have, and learn to live with that.
Famous and rich people have other options, and given that they are every bit as human, with all those insecurities and vanities that the rest of us endure, they often take those options, with sad results.
Sharon Osborne is the exception in that she has had excellent surgery which has enhanced her looks, but for every Sharon, there are dozens of Leslie Ash's, and the nameless starlets from TV reality shows.

ummmm - Quite possibly.
Personally, I will always find a woman more attractive if she is comfortable in her skin (literally!).
Kate Bush is a fine example - known rightly as a stunning woman in her early life, she appears on stage as she is, with no concession to the 'glamour' of her profession, preferring to let the genius of her music make the impact for her.
