Prudie - I may be confusing you, but that doesn't mean that the rest of the congregation are not with the point I am making.
My sarcastic reference to Ali G is rooted in the parallels with Honey G - both hate the same 'surname', both have bogus pretentions to black culture, both are getting a very very long way on a seriously weak initial premise.
The point where their paths part is that with Sacha Baron Cohen, his character is intentionally satirical, and uses clichés and standardised behaviours gently to mock the culture he lampoons.
Anna Gilford has no such skill and is riding the contrary nature of the viewing public.
So, as I said, is it a plot, or a gang of students having a laugh?
