As for Mr Balls and Ms. G., there comes a tipping point where the nation taking the mickey out of public voting passes beyond a joke - I think they both left at the right time, any further participation was going to cause some real upset.

The X Factor claims to want to find real talent yet they parade at least one, often more - novelty acts, to drum up some attention which they hope transfers to viewers. I gave up on that show years ago.
Strictly, I have never bothered with and the thought of Ed Balls dancing only reaffirms my intention not to watch it.

Radio calls and veiled threats from wee men in matching shirts carry no weight when all that matters at Mercedes HQ is an array of trophies and continually increasing sales. Business executives litter the world, top racing drivers are somewhat harder to find.
I think if Paddy Lowe & co want to test my thinking they'd better have a job lined up before the meeting.
