I'm sure I would have. It doesn't matter as long as the meaning is clear- or like mamya says, on a crossword answer. Autocorrect can have a lot to answer for too!
If I instantly know that I've posted a spelling mistake I just follow the post up with *correction word. The spelling and grammar police annoy me, no need for it if the Q/A is intelligible. However if you think you're helping someone that's different to nit picking.
But yes, to answer your question, I'm sure we all do typing and grammatical errors from time to time. I don't mind those much, as long as the post is legible, text speak however irritates me beyond belief.
yes, my typing's not too bad, though a sticky keyboard does produce typos. but my proofreading isn't as good as it was which means I don't actually see the typos before posting. I don't point out other people's errors unless it's stopping them googling successfully. (Or unless they're pointing the finger at other people's typing.)
