Interesting.
The inference of the question appears to be one of the following -
- that Mr Wallace deliberately threw the contest because a competitor was black,
- that Mr Wallace deliberately threw the contest because a competitor was a lawyer
- both of the above.
I have to confess that it would never in my wildest dreams have considered that Mr Wallace would lose on purpose for any reason whatsoever.
I suggest that seeing any of the above scenarios says a lot about the provider of the OP, and his attitudes to professionalism and racism.
I would conclude by saying that the OP does not merit the dignity of a response considering the ethnicity and profession of the contestant.
To consider it would give credence to a notion which is, at best, puerile and suggesting that Mr Wallace is unscrupulous, and at worst, tantamount to unreconstructed racism, which has no part on a site like this.
