Music Download Frustration!!!

Hey, as my computer is rubbish I, unfortunately, can not download a decent program (either p2p or pay per track/album) to download music from e.g. itunes or napster. I used to have Win MX but it stopped working on my tempremental computer so I deleted it and intended to re-download it but I found you now had to complete loads of stupid registration things and payment! I have tried to download kazaaa, limewire and blubster and none of this programs have worked on my computer.

Can anybody recommend a good, easy to use, free (no registration/download fee but can be pay per track or album) program that is compatable with windows 98 (ordinary version, not SE etc..)??????

I have also tried to download music from the tesco download website in the past and it's been simple + worked but it doesn't have the particular song I am looking for ('That La La La' by Rihanna) isn't on there. I have also searched the hmv download site fro it but it wasn't on there either. If all else fails does anybody know where I can download this song from and also 'Ruby Tuesday' and 'Paint It Black'?

Please help- this is so frustrating!!!!

Out of curiosity, i've just downloaded all of those tracks from Limewire, all 3 in under a minute! So try that or if you want to put your e-mail address on here, i'll send you them.

winmx has been shut down by the powers that be but morpheus & shareaza are still up and running  (at the mo) as well as limewire. Give 'em a try.

to the mac lad> You may have just downloaded them but I don't mean the tracks won't download, I downloaded the software limewire and it won't open on my computer (says you need java runtime environment or something) and when I went on the website it told me to go to (to get the java thing) it downloaded then nothing changed- still said i needed to download java! I will put my e-mail so you can send me the tracks but I think it will be taken off by the people who run the site- don't count on it still being here when you get this! >>
