T2 Trainspotting Short Review

20 years eh, where has it gone?
Just in from seeing the film and it didn't disappoint, equally as good as the first IMHO.
It's tragic, funny, poignant and menacing(well, Begbie is!) and the on screen chemistry is still there, it was just like seeing old mates from way back when.
Great job by all concerned, but any newbies thinking of going to see it obviously MUST see the original, it'll be lost on you otherwise.

I was listening to Robert Carlyle and Ewan McGregor being interviewed by Chris Evans, and because I couldn't remember the names of the characters because it's so long since I have seen the film, I thought RC was referring to his character as 'Baked Bean'!
